What Jesus Says About Patience

What Jesus Says About Patience
Day 9

What does Jesus say about patience?

Text: Romans 12:12

LIFE LESSONS

  1. We must be patient regardless of delay or affliction. Rom 12:12 We must keep our trust and faith in God despite seeming delays, temptations, or persecutions we are facing. We can do this because he has promised that he will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5
  2. Doing good and living right must be second nature to us. Gal 6:9 We must rely on God for strength even when we are growing weary and discouraged. Prov. 3:5-6
  3. We must trust and wait patiently on the Lord and never be envious of the evildoers. Psalms 37:7-9. There is a punishment for sin, but a glorious reward for righteousness. We must patiently turn from anger and keep our lips from sinning. James 1:19.

LIFE APPLICATIONS

  1. Trust in the Lord and His Word. If he has promised it. He`ll certainly bring it to pass. Jer. 29:11
  2. Be intentional today. Decide like Daniel to live right even in the face of trials, temptation, or persecution.
  3. Live your life fully persuaded that God has a plan for you. That he will perfect all that concerns you and keep all that has been committed to his care. 2 Tim 1:12

LESSON OF THE DAY

The Lord`s teaching in the beatitudes perfectly encapsulates the attitude we need to have to enjoy the benefits of the salvation of God.
