Noah

Day 26, Mar 1st 2024

Text:  Genesis 8:1-11

Introduction-

Noah, a man used by God to renew and restore the earth when wickedness abounded everywhere. Noah displayed extraordinary faith when he built the Ark. His friends and family mocked him and even thought he had gone mad but he followed God’s every instruction to the letter. Noah was able to save those people and animals that followed him, Noah knew God was faithful to do what he had promised to do. This led to a renewing of the earth and a second chance for mankind.

Life Lessons–

1. Have faith in God despite the surrounding circumstances.
2. Follow God’s instructions as he knows the end from the beginning.
3. God is in control of all natural processes e.g wind, sea, rain, 

Life applications

1. When the storms of life are ravaging, that is the time to build your faith and depend on God
2. Sometimes, we think God’s ways are too slow or too complicated or too old but if we let God have a say in what we are planning, we will come to realize that his ways are always the best for us.
3. When we rest upon his promises, we shall see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

Lesson of the Day

God is able to do what he says he will do. There is nothing that God cannot do but He wants us to join Him in doing it like Noah did.
