Grace 2

Grace 2

Memory Verse: …”And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity – 2 Cor. 9:8. (AMP).

Text: Titus 2: 11-14.

Spiritual Emphasis: Grace is what differentiates Christianity from all other religion in the world. Grace is the foundation of Christianity. Grace is something so unbelievable that without Christ, you can’t begin to fathom it. It’s what you’re given when you in no way deserve it. It’s humbling and redeeming and replaces shame with strength and love. Jesus is grace personified.
Five Truth About Grace

  • Grace Shows Up for Everyone: Grace doesn’t pick favorites. It shows up with open arms, for every story and every struggle or challenge. Everyone deserves a chance to experience this kind of grace – unearned, unending, and completely transformative – Titus 2:11; John 3:16.
  •  Grace is Sufficient: God’s grace does not run out. It shows up strongest in our weakest moments. Let this be the anchor you rely on at all times. His grace is enough – 2 Cor.12:9.
  • Grace is Approachable: There is no shame in needing help. God invites us to come boldly, not because of our strength, but because of His mercy – Heb. 4:16; Is. 41:10; Ps. 46:1.
  • Grace is Greater: Our world is messy, and so are our stories. But grace is greater. It covers shame, heals what’s broken, and writes a new chapter. Grace never gives up -Romans 5:20; Luke 15:11-20.
  • Grace keeps Coming: Grace does not stop with one act of kindness or one answered prayer. It keeps coming, meeting every new need with fresh supply – John 1:16; Phil. 4:19; 2 Peter 1:3; Eccl. 3:11; Gen. 22:8; 13.

Question: Unconditional forgiveness of sin, one of the most liberating manifestations of Grace was made possible on the Cross. Why do you think some folks still find it difficult to forgive themselves and others?

Conclusion:

In a world quick to judge, grace slows down to listen. It offers second chances, sees the good in hard places, and always leaves room for redemption. Grace isn’t just a theological concept. It’s the very heartbeat of how God relates to us. It is also the model for how we extend love to others.
