The Wisdom from Seeking God

The Wisdom from Seeking God

Day: 25

Text: Proverbs 25

Introduction-

God’s wisdom is so powerful, it changes individuals and communities resulting in victories, however, it is only available to those who seek Gods.

Life Lessons

God Conceals, we must seek revelation: Proverbs 25:2 highlights that God conceals things- He conceals His nature, His wisdom, His purpose for our lives and many more things. Concealing is one of the things that makes Him God because we cannot fathom everything about His being- Proverbs 25:3. Even though God conceals things, He reveals it to those who seek Him, that process is called Revelation. Eph 3:1-3

God can conceal things for the right time & right person: God can reveal somethings at a certain time because it might be needed at that time.  Eph 3:4-5, He also chooses the people He reveals things to- He reveals things to those who are seeking like infants and are not proud thinking they already know enough Luke 10:21. God also gives revelation to those who are going to use the revelation of the wisdom to help others Genesis 18:16-21.

How Revelation comes: Revelation comes through the process of seeking Exo 6:1-3, by studying, by praying Jeremiah 33:3, by obedience, Through the minister of the gospel Acts 8:26-31, and through The Holy Spirit 1 Cor 2:10.

Why we need revelation: for our own benefit, for our victory and deliverance, for the edification of others Eph 3:7-10

Life Application

Don’t Repay evil for evil: Proverbs 25:21-22 God’s Word teaches to forgive and not to be vengeful. Forgiveness can be difficult but we when apply the wisdom from God, we understand that when we forgive, because we have been forgiven much.

Exercise Self-control: Proverbs 25:28 lack of self-control has destroyed nations, marriages, ministries, careers etc. Self-control is a fruit of the spirit, when we yield ourselves to The Holy Spirit, He helps control what we say, hear and do.

Pray for revelation: Philippians 3:10 constantly ask God for revelation of His person, His Word and His plans for your life. Jer 33:3

Key word of the Day – Wisdom comes from God and He reveals it to those who seek Him.
