At age twelve, He was at the Temple, engaged in theological discussion with teachers of the law who were astonished at His profound spiritual maturity and understanding beyond His age, showing a deep connection with God and His future mission. He learnt by asking questions, and listening with profound humility – Luke 2:39-52.
- The wonder of His death and resurrection: This was the final victory over sin and death, validated Jesus’ identity as the Son of God, the Messiah and His trustworthiness. His death and resurrection give hope to believers for eternal life, assurance for salvation, and for us to continue to live our daily lives for Christ – John 20:31.
