LIFE LESSONS

  1. Importance of Jesus to mankind (John 10: 7-17) Jesus is the door by which man can be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. Other doors are nothing but thieves and robbers. They come only to kill and destroy but Jesus came so that you will have life and have it abundantly. Jesus laid down his life for mankind. He is the good shepherd who gave His life for his people. Our heavenly father loves him because He laid down His life for mankind.
  2. Jesus and His personality (Exodus 3:14) Jesus have authority and speaks with power: I AM WHO I AM.  In John 10:11, He called himself the GOOD SHEPHERD. In John 6;35 Jesus stated that HE IS THE BREAD OF LIFE – no hunger and thirst in him. In John 8: 12 Jesus said that HE IS THE LIGHT OF LIFE
  3. Jesus and Life Hereafter.  (John 10: 27-29) Jesus gives eternal life and they that believe shall never perish. He stated that in heaven there are many mansions and that he goes back to heaven to prepare a mansion for you.

LIFE APPLICATIONS

1)What to do with the knowledge of Jesus and mankind? Make use of the door He created by His death on the cross because God is serious about your life. John 3:16 explains that God loves you and gave His son to die for you and if you believe, you will have everlasting life.

2) Have confidence in God words. The God that promised is faithful. He keeps to His words as he did with Moses and other men of God. Psalms 138:1-2 said that God exalts His Word above all his name.

3)Eternity is for you. Matthew 28;20 says that God is with His children to the end of age.

LESSON OF THE DAY: The only thing God wants you to do with the knowledge of who Jesus is, is to give your life to him and test for yourself really who He is.
