God’s Love and the Great Commission

God’s Love and the Great Commission

Day: 39

 QUESTIONS:

In this present age and time, what drives your conviction? What is the Truth?

What is LOVE, and what does our creator require from us?

In our relationship with GOD, what is the gain for HIM?

1 John Chapter 4: 1-21

Introduction:

Hypocrisy and deceit in the body of Christ and in the world.

God’s love is a reassurance of the love that Abba Father has for us all. Our Faith and the fellowship with the creator of the universe- the Alpha and Omega. It is a reconnection and reconciliation with the father. The Love of God brings us to the realm of submission, sanctification, and redemption.

  1.  Life Lessons.

1st lesson on what it teaches us about God.  Everlasting Love: John 1: 14 – And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Through his Love, we are called the sons and daughters of God (1John 3:1). Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.

God is sovereign and, through His sovereignty, has given us authority as children of the Most High God.

Through God’s instruction, we can identify which spirit is the spirit of Truth and which spirit is false.

2nd on what it teaches us and our daily lives

  • Love: Philippians 2:3-11. In humility, we count others more significant than ourselves.
  • Doctrine for living: Forgiveness.

Colossians 3:12 -13. We, as children of GOD, must put on the character of GOD. Show love, and it is a requirement for a true disciple.

  • Services to others: Galatians 5:3. Let us serve each other in humility and Love

Obedience and humility to authority. Be ready to serve in the house of God, the community, and the place of work by considering other people above our own interests.

Life Applications.

Spiritual Growth: This is evidence of spiritual growth and validates that Christ lives in you.

John 15:4 = Abide in me, no one can exist on their own.

Mathew 5: 14-16 says we are the light of the world —-.  The light of God cannot be hidden.

Evangelism: The great commission, a burden for lost souls.

Power of recreation and renewal of the spirit (Psalm 51:10): Daily encounters with God through the reading of HIS WORD and Obedience to HIS instructions.

Holy Spirit – Presence of the Lord with us always (John 14: 16-17). The Presence of God drives away FEAR.

Faith (Hebrews 1:11). We grow our Faith in the Lord through HIS WORD, HIS LOVE for us, and HIS promises

Encounter with our Lord Jesus, the owner of the miraculous and daily blessings through his everlasting Love. That, I may decrease, and the Lord increase in us (John 3:31)
