Text: Ephesians 5:10-20
Spiritual Emphasis: Life is about decision making and these decisions are driven by choices, motivations, needs, fear, satisfaction, desires and faith. Time is a gift from God, and none of us know how much of it we are allotted. Only God knows how much time each of us has on this earth to make decisions that will impact eternity. Use your time wisely. Depend on the Holy Spirit, our helper to always make wise decision that will always please God. We will now review some of the lessons we have learnt these past three weeks on the power of wise decision making.
Review –
Obedience is the key – 1 Sam. 15:22; Jos. 1:8; Is. 1:19-20. Walk by faith and not by sight – 2 Cor. 5:7; Mark 11:24-25. Seize every opportunity and use it for God’s glory – Prov. 16:3. Get alone with God – Mark 1:35. Pray without ceasing – 1 Thess. 5:17; Luke 18:1; Phil. 4:6. Make your decision as God would want you to – Phil. 4:6-7; Mark 3:13-19; Jos. 1:9. Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world – John 14:6. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and as such is infallible and inerrant – 2 Tim. 3:16-17. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit – 1 Cor. 6:19-20. Money is not a god – 1 Tim. 6:6-10; Heb. 13:5. Marriage should be honored – 1 Thess. 4:3-7; Heb. 13:4. Always choose to honor and glorify God – Dan. 1:8-9; Dan. 1:17; Dan. 3:13-18.

Conclusion:
We only have one life on earth. At the end can we say without any reservation, retreat or regrets, I have fulfilled my calling, the plans and dreams God has for me? (2 Tim. 4:7-8). Brethren, let us get busy for the Lord. Whatever gift or talent you have, begin to use it for the Lord. It is in so doing, that we will all enjoy God’s blessings and favor in Jesus’ name Amen.
