Day: 31
Text: Luke 17:7-10
Introduction- Our relationship with God is beautiful in it`s simplicity. He is our God; our Father and we are his children. He is our friend. We are coheirs with Jesus, coworkers in the vineyard. But we must never forget he is our master, and we are his servants.
Life Lessons–
- Our God is Sovereign, Almighty and worthy of honor. 1 Chron 29:11,
- Total and complete obedience is required from God of his subjects. Heb 5:8-9, Is.1:19
- We should see serving God as a privilege rather than constantly seek validation. Acts 5:41, Js.1:2-4
Life applications
- Thanksgiving, praise, glory and worship with obedience must be a part of our lives. Rev. 5:13, Rom 14:11
- Knowing the will of God and unquestionably following it is the duty of disciples. Jn 12:26, Gal 1.16.
- We must focus on humbly serving the master rather than our egos and self-interests. Phil 2:3, 1 Sam. 15:30
Lesson of the Day: We are called to be disciples of Christ; committed, dedicated, adherents of the Kingdom and it`s principles. Not slothful in business, but fervent in service.
